Wow what an incredible day. It was 7:30am and there I was standing at main break beach watching 15ft lines rolling in, thinking im going out in this without a water housing to shoot on a jet ski!!!
Box wasnt really box but a pyscho 10ft+ shorey. There was not alot of room for a ski to zoom around on the shoulder, the shoulder was more of a left hander breaking into The Box right.
Seaweed was churning up from all the water movement and threatening to choke the ski.
All the riders were up for the challenge in the big surging rising waves. It was such a great show and epic to watch it all go down sitting there on a jet ski dodging solid closeout sets.
A huge congratulations to BOX Local, Ryan Hardy for the amazing win. His local knowledge put him on the best waves of the day and his flawless style and fluid ridding did the rest, so stoked for you mate.
Also Magno Oliveria surfed amazing and is on fire this year. His Invert he did was ridiculous.

All in all my Western Australia Wild West experience was incredible, new friends, new stories, new challenges and conquests, crazy experiences, many laughs, a few waves, late nights and a sunburnt foot.
Now its time to enjoy my last week in OZ and then make my way home to Europe and get ready for The Arica Chilean Challenge.
